31 AUGUST - 6 OCTOBER BUTTER FACTORY ARTS CENTRE COOROY

The ignition Awards were created to help expose our members to high quality ceramics and to aspire to greater heights by being able to enter a competitive exhibition open to all potters both nationally and internationally. We also wanted to promote and sustain the passion, creativity, quality and skill involved in creating outstanding artworks in clay.

This year's judge will be Jackson Li, a prominent ceramics artist from Jingdezhen, China. He has Masters In Fine Arts from from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and the Alfred University. For the past ten years, he has served as a professor and research fellow at China Ceramic Cultural Research Institute,
Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. His work is exhibited and collected internationally.

The awards provide both cash and skill development opportunities as prizes. We aim to select the best judges and present the entered works in a professional and innovative environment.
